Soccer Recap: Philo Takes a Loss

If Philo was feeling good fresh off their 6-2 takedown of Shenandoah on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Electrics lost 9-1 to the Tri-Valley Scotties on Tuesday. Philo were not able to make up for their defeat to Tri-Valley from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Philo's loss dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Tri-Valley, the victory got them back to even at 5-5-2.

Coming up, Philo will challenge John Glenn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tri-Valley, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Marietta at 5:30 p.m. Marietta's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
