Softball Recap: Bear Lake Takes a Loss

Bear Lake managed to slip by Shelley the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Bear Lake lost 19-4 to Shelley on Thursday. The Bears' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Bear Lake saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kambria Romrell, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Taylin DeClark also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Bear Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Shelley, their victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Shelley beat Bear Lake by a score of 19-0 later that day.
