St. Joseph came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Valders Vikings by a score of 2-0.

St. Joseph found their leader in sophomore Lilli Baez, who had 12 digs.

Despite the loss, Valders had strong showings from Addison Grall, who had seven digs and five assists, and Audrey Wagner, who had seven assists and three digs.

St. Joseph now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Valders, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.

St. Joseph has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Racine Lutheran on the 18th. As for Valders, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Whitewater on the 13th.
