Basketball Recap: Oak Grove Comes Up Short

Oak Grove lost against Biloxi back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Oak Grove Warriors were beaten by the Biloxi Indians 56-28. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Indians are ranked first).

Oak Grove has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Biloxi, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 17-0.

Oak Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-33 win against Petal on the 3rd. Biloxi has also already played their next contest, a 56-28 victory against Oak Grove on the 3rd.
