Goodrich is 9-1 against Owosso since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Martians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Neither Goodrich nor Owosso posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Things were looking good for Goodrich after they put the first run on the board on Saturday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Negaunee by a score of 3-2.

Jayden Gohs made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run.

Meanwhile, Owosso was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clio.

Goodrich's loss dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Owosso, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Goodrich skirted past Owosso 4-3 in their previous matchup on Wednesday. Will the Martians repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
