Softball Recap: Mt. Hebron's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

Mt. Hebron has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.83 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Glenelg Gladiators. The Vikings have struggled against the Gladiators recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mt. Hebron fell to 5-1. As for Glenelg, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Mt. Hebron will square off against Centennial at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Glenelg, they will face off against Atholton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11 runs per game on average), something the Gladiators will no doubt try to take advantage of.
