After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Richards, Evergreen Park was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hillcrest Hawks a 15-0 shutout. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.

Evergreen Park moved to 13-13 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Hillcrest, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Evergreen Park will venture away from home to take on Stagg at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hillcrest, they will head out to square off against Tinley Park at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
