Vancleave's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Stone Tomcats as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Tomcats: they've now won seven in a row.

Vancleave was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Stone still got an impressive performance from Payton Gonzalez, who had ten digs and two assists. Gonzalez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Vancleave now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Stone, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Vancleave will face off against rival Wayne County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Stone is set to take on their familiar foe East Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
