Softball Recap: Mt. Vernon Rams vs. Mt. Carmel Golden Aces

Mt. Vernon was the 6-1 winner over Mt. Carmel when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Mt. Vernon Rams took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mt. Carmel Golden Aces in their second game on Saturday.

Arwyn Wilkey was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Ava Lowery was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
