There's no place like home for Grove City, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They blew past the Franklin Knights 11-0 on Monday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Eagles' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Jaxen Pyle was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Gavin Gilmore was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Grove City always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .560. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Grove City's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-13. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grove City will challenge Clarion Area at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Franklin, they will square off against Oil City at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
