Basketball Recap: Roseburg Comes Up Short

Roseburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 72-71 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Eugene Axe. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Axe from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Roseburg's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for South Eugene, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Grants Pass the next time they take the court. Roseburg will host Grants Pass at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while South Eugene will host them at 6:45 p.m. on February 7th.
