 Mechanicville and Hoosick Falls are an even 3-3 against one another  since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Mechanicville Red Raiders will be playing at home against the Hoosick Falls Panthers at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both teams are still undefeated (Mechanicville has five wins, while Hoosick Falls.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Mechanicville gave their fans yet another huge  win on Monday. They blew past Hoosic Valley 29-4. While fans of Mechanicville might be used to big wins, the 25-run margin marked the team's biggest one yet.
  Cruz Goverski and  Mark Pingelski were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing,  Goverski   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. At the plate,  Goverski  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances, while  Pingelski  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  William Coreno, who  got on base  in all six of his plate appearances with five  runs, two  triples,  and two  stolen bases. Another player making a difference was  Scotty Lynch, who  went 3-for-5 with three  stolen bases, five  RBI,  and three  runs.
 Meanwhile, Hoosick Falls earned  a  5-2 victory over Greenwich  on Tuesday.
 Mechanicville's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Hoosick Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
