Basketball Recap: Aqsa Takes a Loss

Aqsa lost against Islamic Foundation back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Aqsa Legends lost 52-29 to the Islamic Foundation Chargers. The Legends have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Aqsa still got an impressive performance from Noor Saleh, who posted 22 points. That was a full 75.9% of Aqsa's points, marking the 12th time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Aqsa's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Islamic Foundation, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing MCC the next time they take the court. Islamic Foundation will head out to face MCC at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Aqsa will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
