John Glenn waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Garaway Pirates. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Little Muskies also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2021.

Kendall Snider spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than 12 strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Addison Babcock was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Estelle Matheney was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

John Glenn hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in four consecutive contests.

John Glenn's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-11. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Garaway, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

John Glenn and Garaway are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Little Muskies will welcome Morgan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Garaway, they will face off against Bellaire at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Big Reds have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
