Volleyball Recap: Callaway Takes a Loss

If Callaway was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Provine last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chargers came up short against the Warren Central Vikings on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Chargers have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-13, 25-11.

Warren Central can attribute much of their success to Kamryn Kelly, who had seven aces.

Callaway now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Warren Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Callaway will take on Ridgeland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warren Central, they will welcome Vicksburg at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
