It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Highlands can now relate to. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 35-21 to the Corbin Redhounds. The Bluebirds' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Highlands' loss came despite strong showings from Tayden Lorenzen and Colt Kremer. Lorenzen rushed for 90 yards on only ten carries, while Kremer gained 90 total yards and a touchdown.

Highlands' defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Corbin, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Highlands does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Corbin, they will head out to take on Boyle County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels' defense has only allowed 9.6 points per game this season, so the Redhounds' offense will have their work cut out for them.
