The John F. Kennedy Rockets will take on the San Antonio HomeSchool Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. John F. Kennedy will be strutting in after a victory while San Antonio HomeSchool will be coming in after a loss.

John F. Kennedy took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Bracken Christian 7-6.

John F. Kennedy's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was JORGE PINA, who went 3-for-4 with three doubles, four RBI, and two runs. PINA has become a key player for the Rockets: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three RBI, but 9-11 otherwise. BAYRON CRUZ was another, earning three runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, San Antonio HomeSchool didn't have quite enough to beat San Antonio Christian on Thursday and fell 5-3.

John F. Kennedy's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for San Antonio HomeSchool, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-17-1 record this season.
