Basketball Recap: Ridgeview Comes Up Short

Ridgeview lost against Independence back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ridgeview Wolf Pack fell to the Independence Falcons 48-42. The game marked the Wolf Pack's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Amarius Rowel was the offensive standout of the matchup as he went 6 of 12 en route to 19 points. The game was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Davian Leon, who posted 13 points.

Ridgeview has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Independence, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-6.

Ridgeview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-54 victory against Concordia West on the 16th. Independence has also already played their next game, a 53-34 win against Highland on the 16th.
