Basketball Recap: Dundalk Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Dundalk had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Kenwood Bluebirds by a score of 46-44 on Friday. The Owls were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bluebirds from their previous meeting back in January.

Dundalk's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Damari Moore, who posted seven points along with 11 boards and six steals. Ryan Akins was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Antonio Davis was the offensive standout of the matchup as he put up ten points and five steals. What's more, he posted four assists, the most he's had since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of A'Mare Gaulden-Saddler, who had six points and three steals.

Looking ahead, Dundalk will challenge SEED at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Kenwood, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
