Beaumont won the last time they faced West Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cougars blew past the Mustangs 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

The victory didn't come easy: West Valley scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-18.

West Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Deonys Ioane, who had 14 assists and seven digs. Another player making a difference was Sheiann Rosales, who had 13 digs and one assist.

Beaumont's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for West Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Beaumont will look to defend their home court on Friday against Great Oak at 5:30 p.m. As for West Valley, they will face off against Murrieta Mesa at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
