Volleyball Recap: Pendleton County Comes Up Short

Pendleton County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Calvary Christian Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Pendleton County's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Calvary Christian, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pendleton County will host Augusta at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Calvary Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Heritage Academy at 7:00 p.m.
