Basketball Recap: Oak Hill Takes a Loss

Oak Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Poland Knights, falling 72-22. The contest marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Oak Hill's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Poland, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oak Hill will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Waterville at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Oak Hill is facing Waterville at the right time seeing as Waterville is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Poland, they will venture away from home to take on Mountain Valley at 11:30 a.m. on December 28th.
