Volleyball Recap: Starr's Mill Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Starr's Mill lost against McIntosh back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chiefs.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-3.

Ember Ness paced Starr's Mill's offense, picking up four kills. Ness got some help from Katie Gutshall and her seven assists.

Starr's Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for McIntosh, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Starr's Mill has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Brookstone on the 28th. As for McIntosh, they will face off against Holy Innocents Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on September 4.
