After a string of three wins, Perris's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 1-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Perris now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Murrieta Valley, their win bumped their record up to 2-3-1.

Perris has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Colony on the 1st. As for Murrieta Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against Aquinas on the 1st.
