Everything went their way against the Worthington Kilbourne Wolves on Wednesday as they made off with a 14-3 victory. The win continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won five in a row.

Big Walnut's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Worthington Kilbourne, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-4 record this season.
