Volleyball Recap: Grayslake North Comes Up Short

Grayslake North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Libertyville Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-19.

Ava Werner paced Grayslake North's offense, picking up four kills. Werner were helped by Lucy Roscoe and Reese Oatsvall, who contributed four assists each.

Grayslake North's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Libertyville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Grayslake North has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Vernon Hills on the 6th. As for Libertyville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Richmond-Burton on the 6th.
