Soccer Recap: Christian Heritage Comes Up Short

Christian Heritage managed to keep up with Gordon Central until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Christian Heritage Lions lost 3-0 to the Gordon Central Warriors. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in February of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Christian Heritage's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Gordon Central, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christian Heritage will take on Chattooga at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Christian Heritage is facing Chattooga at the right time seeing as Chattooga is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Gordon Central, they will face off against Dalton Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Gordon Central will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: Dalton Academy will have lost seven straight heading into Friday's game.
