Baseball Game Preview: ABF Academy Homestead Bandits vs. TNXL Miami Stars

After both having extra time off, the ABF Academy Homestead Bandits and the TNXL Miami Stars will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. ABF Academy Homestead will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

ABF Academy Homestead is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 21-12 margin over TNXL Miami two weeks ago.

ABF Academy Homestead got a great performance from Ashton Rafaela as he pitched 4.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Farens Wooter was incredible, going 3-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. ABF Academy Homestead is undefeated when Wooter posts three or more RBI, but 3-14 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianni Koeiman, who went 2-for-3 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

ABF Academy Homestead was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .485. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .321 or higher in three consecutive contests.
