Soccer Game Preview: Whitewater vs. Midtown

The Whitewater Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Midtown Knights at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitewater is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Whitewater took on Spalding last Thursday. The Wildcats never let the Jaguars get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. Kellen McGee was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Midtown was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Riverwood. That's two games in a row now that Midtown have lost by exactly two goals.

Whitewater's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five matchups. As for Midtown, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.
