Basketball Game Preview: East Tech Scarabs vs. Maple Heights Mustangs

The East Tech Scarabs will head out on the road to face off against the Maple Heights Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. East Tech's offense hasn't had much luck over their past eight contests, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Last Friday, East Tech came up short against John Adams and fell 27-19.

Meanwhile, Maple Heights also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Garfield Heights by a score of 37-27.

Maple Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for East Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

East Tech ended up a good deal behind Maple Heights in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, losing 47-30. Can East Tech avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
