Blue Ridge is a perfect 10-0 against Holbrook since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets will take on the Roadrunners at 2:00 p.m. Blue Ridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Kaden Edgington and Hunter Krause made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Edgington didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Meanwhile, Krause tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Edgington has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. At the plate, Edgington scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Krause got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double. That's the most hits Edgington has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Graesyn Kendzlic, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 15 runs the game before, Holbrook was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They lost 14-2 to St. Johns.
Holbrook saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Eisele, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. Justin Maestas was another, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Holbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Blue Ridge, their record is now 12-4.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Blue Ridge hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .321. However, it's not like Holbrook struggles in that department as they've averaged .329. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Blue Ridge's way against Holbrook in their previous matchup on Tuesday, as Blue Ridge made off with an 8-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellow Jackets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
