Softball Recap: Edmonson County's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Edmonson County waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Ohio County Eagles get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Eagles back in March, they had to take a 5-2 defeat.

Not much got past Julie Norris, who gave up just five hits to keep Ohio County off the board.

On the hitting side, Edmonson County secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Emma Price, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Edmonson County hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 5-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Edmonson County now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Ohio County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-13-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edmonson County will venture away from home to take on Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ohio County, they will head out to face off against Logan County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
