Softball Recap: Reavis Comes Up Short

Reavis lost against Lemont back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rams lost 9-1 to the Lemont HS. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Reavis saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sienna Aragones, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Aragones is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Reavis' loss dropped their record down to 17-15. As for Lemont, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reavis will take on Oak Lawn at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lemont, they will challenge Beecher at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bobcats' pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so the Lemont HS' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
