Baseball Recap: Leo Wins Going Away Against East Noble

Leo lost to East Noble back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Lions blew past the Knights 9-3. Considering the Lions have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Landon Ruoff made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Dominic Rennecker was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.

Leo's record now sits at 13-2. As for East Noble, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.
