            Baseball Recap: Bunker Hill Bears vs. Lincolnton Wolves        
        
		
        
        
            Bunker Hill won the last time they faced Lincolnton and things went their way  on Tuesday too. Bunker Hill put the hurt on Lincolnton with a sharp  13-1 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Bears.
 Skyler Marlowe was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He  struck out six batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. He has become a key player for Bunker Hill: the team is 5-2 when he allows at  most  one  earned run, but 2-4 otherwise. Marlowe was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Michael Camby, who  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Bryce Caldwell also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
 Bunker Hill was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .382. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
Bunker Hill now  has a winning record of 7-6. As for Lincolnton,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-8.
 Coming up, Bunker Hill will host West Caldwell  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Bunker Hill is facing West Caldwell at the right time seeing as West Caldwell is stuck on  a  13-game losing streak. As for Lincolnton, they will head out to  take on Cherryville  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Cherryville will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something Lincolnton surely won't give up without a fight.
