There's no place like home for Clay, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Bradford Tornadoes on Monday as they made off with an 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won seven contests by eight runs or more so far this season.
Clay got a great performance from Sadie Russo as she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Russo has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
