Baseball Game Recap: Lone Star Rangers vs. Wakeland Wolverines

Friday just wasn't the day for Lone Star's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-0 to the Wakeland Wolverines, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

Lone Star has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for Wakeland, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

Lone Star has already played their next game (against Celina), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Wakeland, they will square off against Turner at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wolverines are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
