Basketball Recap: Gianna Blanco's Big Game Can't Quite Lead King over Randolph

After flying high against Somerset on Friday, King came back down to earth. The King Mustangs fell 55-45 to the Randolph Ro-Hawks on Friday.

King lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Gianna Blanco, who posted 13 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamila Hernandez, who went 6 of 15 on her way to 14 points along with seven boards and five assists.

King has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Randolph, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

King didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-17 win against Lockhart on the 7th. As for Randolph, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 34-29 victory against Gloria Deo Academy on the 7th.
