Baseball Game Preview: Libby Loggers vs. Whitefish Bulldogs

The Libby Loggers will head out on the road to take on the Whitefish Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Libby has given up an average of 9.2 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Libby came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Whitefish, falling 14-2. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Loggers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Libby saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bransen Holzer, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Whitefish's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Libby, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
