Softball Recap: Marlboro County Comes Up Short

Marlboro County's last matchup with Dillon could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Bulldogs lost 13-2 to the Wildcats. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Amir Bridges was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Skipper, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Marlboro County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Dillon, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8-1.

Marlboro County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 loss against Aynor on the 1st. As for Dillon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-2 win against Loris on the 1st.
