Volleyball Recap: Harding Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Harding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the South St. Paul Packers. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Packers when the teams met back in September of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Harding was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-13, 25-22.

South St. Paul found their leader in freshman Abby Ulrick, who had 11 digs and seven aces. Those seven aces set a new season-high mark for Ulrick. Aveyah St. George also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Harding's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for South St. Paul, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Harding will take on Como Park at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South St. Paul, they will welcome Mahtomedi at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
