Baseball Recap: Camden Fairview Takes a Loss

Camden Fairview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodlawn Bears.

Camden Fairview saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dayson Connelly, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Zac Morehead also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Camden Fairview's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Woodlawn, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Camden Fairview and Woodlawn will both be playing Des Arc the next time they take the field. Camden Fairview will host Des Arc at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Woodlawn will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
