Softball Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for West Lutheran

West Lutheran came tearing into Tuesday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Mayer Lutheran Crusaders 19-1. Considering the Warriors have won nine matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

West Lutheran pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Mayer Lutheran, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.

West Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-5 defeat against Providence Academy on the 14th. As for Mayer Lutheran, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-12 loss against Legacy Christian Academy on the 15th.
