While Hercules's win against Richmond wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hercules Titans won by a set and slipped past the Richmond Oilers 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Oilers: they've now won five in a row.

Hercules was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-14, 21-25, 25-7, 15-9.

The win got Hercules back to even at 2-2. As for Richmond, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Hercules will take on American Canyon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Richmond, they will square off against De Anza at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
