Baseball Recap: Scranton Prep Cavaliers vs. Delaware Valley Warriors

Scranton Prep made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Delaware Valley, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Cavaliers fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 4-2 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-6 on April 2nd.

Paul Rusincovitch made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Reece Vida also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Scranton Prep has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Delaware Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.
