Softball Recap: Blair Triumphs

Blair picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Fossil Ridge SaberCats by a score of 5-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

The team relied heavily on Laynie Brown, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one triple the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Mia McClain, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Blair's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Fossil Ridge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Blair didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-8 win against Norris on the 6th. As for Fossil Ridge, they will be playing at home against Rocky Mountain at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
