Baseball Recap: Alden Comes Up Short

Alden fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Medina on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Alden's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Alden is taking a road trip to square off against Tonawanda at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Medina, they will host Alexander at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
