Baseball Recap: Brindlee Mountain Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Brindlee Mountain's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ider Hornets on Tuesday.

Brindlee Mountain dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Ider, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brindlee Mountain will welcome Kate Duncan Smith DAR at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kate Duncan Smith DAR knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Brindlee Mountain likes a good challenge. As for Ider, they will be playing at home against Saks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ider's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Saks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
