Volleyball Recap: Batesburg-Leesville Comes Up Short

Batesburg-Leesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Woodmont Wildcats.

Kate Shealy paced Batesburg-Leesville's offense, picking up three kills. Shealy got some help from Molly Price and her five assists.

Batesburg-Leesville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13-1. As for Woodmont, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Batesburg-Leesville will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Strom Thurmond at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Woodmont, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Landrum on the 6th.
