Soccer Recap: Memorial's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

While Memorial's victory against Claremore wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Chargers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Zebras on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Memorial have won by just one goal.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Memorial, bringing their record up to 11-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four contests. As for Claremore, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Memorial will challenge Booker T. Washington at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Booker T. Washington will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Memorial surely won't give up without a fight. As for Claremore, they will take on Tahlequah at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
